I bought these shoes in a size 11. As previous reviewers have said, they do run a bit longer than other Keens I have bought. Since Keens tend to run short in my size, however, these are true to my size as compared to other brands. I did not find them to be too wide. In fact, they weren't as wide as I expected and a bit narrower than other Keens in the same size. So I didn't find the sizing to be a problem at all. These shoes are so adorable. They look casual enough to wear with jeans, but also work with nicer outfits as well. The arch support is better than the Keen tennis shoes I own. I am very pleased with these shoes and have contemplated getting a pair for all my female relatives!

I have worn all sorts of Keen shoes for years, and an 8.5 always fits well. I ordered these because they were so fun and colorful. I wore them around the house over the weekend to break them in, and then today I wore them to campus. After about 10 minutes of walking, my heels were both sore from the still material used on the back of the shoe. When I got to my destination, I tried to rearrange it somehow and noticed that my left heel had actually blistered, popped, and bled through my sock and onto the white canvas fabric covering that tortuous back part of the shoe. Crap. Now I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that, while cute, are not something I can wear, and they're also not something I can return. I feel like blood voids any return policy.
I read the other reviews about the uncomfortable (stiff, sharp) construction on the back of the shoe, but I figured thick, cushy socks would alleviate any issues. They didn't, and now they're blood-stained too. As others have stated, the ankle strap is also uncomfortable. It's fine if you're sitting, but it's really tight if you're on the go. I have another pair of Keen Mary-Janes that are very similar in shape, and they are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I'm not sure what went wrong with the Harvest MJs. As with all Keen products, there is great arch support and the footbed is really comfortable. I don't think I'll give up on Keen, but I wish that these shoes had been made to provide the type of comfort I expect from their products.
